Common Questions
FAQ for teen lessons
Does my teen need any dance experience?
None at all. Most teen students start from zero. Noe builds a solid foundation from the first lesson — footwork, timing, posture — so your teen feels confident quickly rather than overwhelmed.
How far in advance should we book for prom?
For prom prep, 6–8 weeks out is ideal. That gives enough time for 4–6 sessions to build real confidence for a slow dance or showcase number. Booking a 4-pack early locks in priority scheduling.
Are lessons available after school and on weekends?
Yes — evening and weekend slots are available specifically with student schedules in mind. Text Noe directly to find a time that works around school, sports, or activities.
What styles can teens learn?
Anything from Waltz and Foxtrot for formal events, to Salsa, Bachata, and Swing for social situations. Noe teaches 19+ styles and tailors the curriculum to your teen's specific goals.
Is there a parent or guardian requirement?
A parent or guardian is required to confirm the booking for students under 18. You're welcome to stay and watch, or drop off — whatever makes you and your teen most comfortable.
