    Cha-Cha Lessons FAQ

What makes Cha-Cha different from other Latin dances?

Cha-Cha has a distinctive triple-step (cha-cha-cha) that creates its playful, syncopated feel. It's danced to medium-tempo music and emphasizes sharp, precise movements with Cuban hip motion.

    Is Cha-Cha hard to learn?

The basic Cha-Cha rhythm takes a bit of practice, but once it clicks, it's incredibly fun! Most students get the basic step within their first lesson.

What music can I dance Cha-Cha to?

Cha-Cha works with a wide variety of music—from traditional Latin songs to pop hits like 'Smooth' by Santana or even some contemporary pop songs with the right tempo.

    Do you teach competition Cha-Cha?

We teach both social and competition-style Cha-Cha. International Latin Cha-Cha has more complex footwork and styling, which we can introduce as you progress.
