What ballroom dances will I learn?
We teach Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, and Quickstep. In your first session, we'll explore which dances resonate with your goals and preferences.
Do I need a partner for ballroom lessons?
No! Many students come solo and do great. You'll learn proper technique and frame that prepares you to dance confidently with any partner.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that allows movement. For footwear, smooth-soled shoes work best (avoid sneakers with heavy grip). As you progress, we can recommend dance shoes.
How is ballroom different from Latin dance?
Ballroom dances (Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango) typically have more gliding, elegant movements. Latin dances (Salsa, Cha-Cha) feature more hip action and rhythmic energy. Many dancers enjoy both!
