    About Cuban Salsa Dancing

Casino, often called Cuban salsa, developed in Cuba from son and other popular partner dances. Partners change direction and move around one another, rather than staying in the linear slot common in LA-style salsa. Rueda de casino brings several couples into a circle, following patterns announced by a caller, sometimes changing partners. It is a collective way to dance casino—not a prerequisite for learning it. Lessons with Noe are private or semi-private.
